MomMom and PopPop Visit!

MomMom and PopPop came to NYC to help Mommy celebrate her 5th annual 29th birthday!! They actually came bearing gifts for all the special Taureans in our family.

Josh scored a cool "Handy Manny" computer. He loves it so much he insisted on sleeping with it the first night.
Josh and Daddy open early birthday presents.

Mr. J sports cool new shades. Sometimes he prefers to wear them as an upside-down bowtie.

The Josh-Sitters Club

Josh is spoiled and gets to see his GREAT grandparents, GiGi and Granpa Stanley, almost every week! They Josh-sit whenever we are in a bind. Who else would show up at your door at 5:55am with a smile?!

GiGi almost never shows up empty-handed. As a result, Josh has amassed a crazy collection of stuffed animals! He loves watching over his herd.

On days when Daddy has to travel back to Philly, Grandpa drops him off at the bus station and GiGi watches Josh until the handoff to Malou at 8am. Malou then has her hands full until Mommy or Daddy are finally home! Here are two recent pics she shared with us!

Finally, Daddy is home to play bubbles with Josh:

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

A wonderful visit from Tom and Caryl this past weekend. Josh was a real trooper on Saturday as he helped Bess and John move into their new crib. He explored the East Norwalk park scene with daddy and grandpa, and he helped grandma with a lunch delivery for all the busy movers and unpackers.

Josh with Bess and John at their new apartment in East Norwalk.

Sunday was a beautiful day in the park. We enjoyed a very nice walk around the middle of Central Park and even got to check out the castle. Josh really liked his walk through the woods.

Joshua's Biathlon Day

What a ham. Joshua, fresh and clean from a bath, loves to spend time with his mommy. Next time everyone visits you'd better watch out!!! Joshua has learned how to tickle, so he has a new favorite hobby.

MMM. An ice cream cone to finish off a fun weekend. What you don't see in this photos is that 1/2 of the cone ends up being fed to to a puppy and the other 1/2 ends up on daddy's shoe.

Chillin' in the park. What's up dude?

Special lunch at McD's. A rare treat.

The first part of Joshua's biathlon. A walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Joshua loved looking at all the helicopters and the boats as they passed by. He actually walked about 1/2 of the way over.

Now on the way back to Manhattan after a pick-me up of a chocolate danish at the bakery.

Josh and Leone enjoy the trip over to Brooklyn.
What a pretty view back toward Manhattan. Hard to believe that this bridge is almost 150 years old.

More pictures from the Brooklyn Bridge. Benedikt and Andrea look more rested before the walk across and back.

Preparing for event #2 of his Sunday biathlon. Joshua sports his Sesame Street bike helmet. He really, really enjoyed the 6+ mile tour around Central Park. Mommy did all the heavy lifting with Joshua on the back of her bike. Josh loved the hills and the first visit to a park on the west side of CP.

Easter Bunny

Josh really enjoyed the Easter holiday. The Easter Bunny visited him multiple times on Sunday. The first bunny basket was found at MomMom's house which featured lots of bubbles and some fun books. Josh loves that he can now do bubbles on his own without waiting for mommy or daddy.

Then at the Acheson's Josh hoarded all the candy eggs. M&M's, Jelly Beans and PeanutButter eggs make a wonderful dinner!!

Josh also got to celebrate the Final Four with cousin Will. The two boys loved watching the games. But most of their time was spent chasing the cats and playing catch with Lilly dog.

Josh was so nice to share his Easter eggs with mommy.
