Long Winter

It's a long, cold winter here in NYC. Unfortunately lots of indoor time. We are looking forward to warmer days ahead! Fortunately we have had wonderful visitors to help the time pass!

HSS (the hospital mommy works at) rented out Rockefeller Center for an ice skating party. Daddy took Josh for a few laps around the rink before the guards said "No babies allowed".

Joshua and the Frisky Puppies

Joshua got to visit the pet store in NYC this weekend. He saw all kinds of newborn puppies (all the toy breeds like the Maltese and Chihuahua). He didn't want to leave without taking the store home. We guess that he'll just have to visit Jack and Will's dog Lilly more often.

Here Josh and mommy were looking at the cutest little French Bulldog. It had a piece of paper stuck to its lip.

It's a sure thing that Joshua is a happy, happy boy. He spent a cold holiday weekend cuddling up at MomMom and PopPop's house.

Our little elf had a fabulous Christmas!! We stayed in Moorestown with MomMom and PopPop. On Christmas Eve Josh entertained everyone in the adjacent pews at Church. We then had a festive holiday meal -- MomMom outdid herself -- and the boys had some good giggle time together.

On Christmas morning Josh fell in love with a bunch of new toys and books, but this new car track was by far his favorite!!

The afternoon was spent at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jenny's for another wonderful family meal. Josh and Will shared Thomas Trains nicely. Later, Josh cheered on Jack as he battled Jeff on his new Wii.

Josh's Snowy Winter Wonderland

Josh experienced his first NYC snow this morning. The city was blanketed with about 8-10" last night. It was quite a storm (though not as bad as the 22" MomMom and PopPop had in Philadelphia). Daddy was very pleased that he didn't have to shovel !!!!

Happy Chanukah

A Joshy sized menorah. Joshy is loving lighting the candles each night. But he loves the presents even more. He's gotten several books (Mr. Noisy, Mr. Clever and Mr. Forgetful), and a new tool set. Josh may be taking after his great-aunt Sue because he loves to drill in daddys mouth. Maybe daddy will have Josh put on his new tooth.
