Visit from Bess and John

Josh had a great visit from his aunt and uncle this weekend. He helped to celebrate John's birthday by going to the park and showing off all his cool trains.

Indiana Visit

Last weekend Josh got to visit grandma and grandpa in Bloomington. He spent all day Friday and most of Saturday with grandma. Despite the premature cold weather, he enjoyed playing in the leaves, going to the playground and checking out the pond.

He was a great traveler for daddy and he even gobbled up some Shapiro's sandwich at the airport.

Josh is excited to see Aunt Bess and Uncle John this weekend and then all of mommy's family for Halloween.

What will his costume be????? Daddy may have him be a Phillies player so they can beat those D$*@ Yankees!!

This is Josh's good buddy Leone Westrick -- they share a nanny (and toys, food, germs, you name it!). Here they are watching the Columbus Day parade.

Playing in Central Park

Joshua loves swinging in the park. He goes almost everyday with Malou and Leone, or with mommy and daddy on the weekends.

He also loves to feed the ducks. He watches them eat his animal crackers and swim away.

"Sweep the Leg" and John is down for the count. Josh and John play full contact golf at Regis' birthday party.

Josh loves hearing poppop read the story of Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare.

Josh's Busy New York Times

Josh managed to get to the Hamptons a few times this summer and learned to like the swimming pool there! Not the ocean, though (not yet).

Over Labor Day weekend we visited Aunt Bess and Uncle John in Connecticut and went to the South Norwalk Aquarium! Josh LOVED the colorful fish, penguins, sea otters and sharks!

OK, so we all agree that Josh cleans up pretty well, but tuxedos aren't his standard attire... Here are images of a typical day in NYC for our little man.

Early morning -- the 5am cry convinces Mom to drag him into bed with his parents... and this is how he looks when Mommy has to leave for work...Two peas in a pod...

Up and at 'em! Playtime. Note our apartment is essentially Josh's play gym, complete with rubber mat flooring.

Lunch! No bib. Josh is not a fan of the bibs...
More playtime... the sprayground in Central Park. He LOVES this. Minus the soaking wet diaper at the end of the session.


Dinner. He has immaculate table manners. (But note: ambidextrous!)

BATHTIME! This is possibly his favorite time of day.

No pictures of bedtime because Mommy practically falls asleep before Josh these days and can't manage the camera when she is tired....
