Funtime with Aunt Bess

Aunt Bess came to visit and Josh had a blast!! She is a great book reader, cuddler, and song-singer. She swears Josh loves the Michigan fight song, but we had to remind her that VANDY is ranked ahead of Michigan in football this year (for now!) -- and Josh is a die-hard Vandy fan. Aunt Bess also has a magic soothing touch that put Josh down easily for a nap at least 3 times in just 2 days!

Happiness is a Hot Pink Hippo

After much deliberation and playtime with countless soft, plush, cuddly, furry and fuzzy animals, Josh had declared his official new best friend: the Hippo. Daddy is overlooking the fact that the Hippo is mostly hot pink.

Baby is Becoming a Little Boy

Little Josh is looking less like a baby these days and more like a little boy!

He has also become super chatty lately! We love hearing his voice.

Scenes from Labor Day Weekend

Josh had an absolutely fantastic Labor Day Weekend with his Grandma and Grandpa. He took in his first (and last!) baseball game at Yankee Stadium. He helped his Great-Grandpa Stanley celebrate his 80th birthday.

End of Summer...

Summer is coming to an end... but Josh was able to enjoy another trip to the beach, despite Mommy insisting he be covered up at all times.Josh has really taken to bathtime and even gets an occasional bath in the sink!!! But not for long.

Joshua's newest stats are in -- at just over 3 months old he is 23 1/2" long (25th percentile) and 13 lbs, 14 ozs (70th percentile) -- so, yes, he is underheight for his weight. Time to pack away the 0-3mos clothes and whip out the 3-6mos size!

He also has officially slept through the night for a few nights in a row now! He doesn't even bother to stir when Mommy's alarm clock goes off at 4:15am. Unfortunately, Mommy barely stirs at that point, either... This morning Daddy woke up to the greatest sound in the world, Josh giggling to himself. He's just so sweet!
