Birth Announcement!

Better late than never... Josh's birth announcement finally came in!

Weekend Fun

We had a fun weekend! Josh was a hit at an orthopaedic party and chilled on a rooftop overlooking the city... then we met up with (Great!) Uncle Cliff and Aunt Sue. Cliff could give Mary Poppins a run for her money!







Josh listened very intently and enjoyed reading "Yertle the Turtle" with Daddy.

Great-Grandparents Visit

Josh is getting to be a chunker. Not really, but he's now up to 10lbs 2oz!!! That puts him at 50% in weight but he's only 10% in length. But mom thinks the nurse mismeasured.

We had a great visit from Great-Grandpa Stan and Great-Grandma Helene.

GG Stan is a natural with babies. They call him the "Baby Whisperer".

Three generations share a wonderful time.

Visiting Pittsburgh and Father's Day

Josh was very agreeable during his first lengthy car ride this weekend. We braved a 6 hour drive to Pittsburgh. He saved his crying for after the car ride.

Josh had a cute Father's Day outfit that Aunt Bess had sent.

Baby Shower

Josh was super spoiled at a lovely shower last week at the home of Nancy Baxter with co-hosts Sue Acheson, D'Arcy DiSpirito, and Carolyn Fitzgerald. Friends traveled from as far as the shore, Maryland, and even Massachusetts to meet the little guy! Every last detail was perfect!

Check out the cute invitation. The fabulous - and very generous - hosts -- Nancy, D'Arcy, Sue and Carolyn. Some of the loot! The table centerpieces were a whole new jungle of stuffed animals for Josh to play with.
