Happy Father's Day 2009!

Beach Boy

Joshua had a wonderful visit last weekend to New York. He had several fun walks with Grandma Helene and Grandpa Stan.

He also loved playing with his first balloon. Unfortunately, the balloon slipped off his wrist and we watched it sail up, up, and up into the sky.

On Sunday we visited the beach. The water was too cold, but we got some good time playing in the sand. Joshua looks forward to more visits to the Hamptons this summer.

Joshua got to splash and play in his turtle pool/sandbox yesterday. It was a great way to stay cool and we're sure he'll love it more in the heat of late June and July.

We also got our annual picture with the blooming rhodos. Check out the picture from June '08 post to see how much Joshy has grown in a year.

Joshua primary mode of transportation now is walking. He falls a lot but he's getting to be very good at stairs and loves exploring.

He had a wonderful adventure this weekend with MomMom and PopPop. They went to the park, watched cousin Jack hit a home run, and played in the backyard.

Memorial Day weekend

Joshua had a wonderful first visit to Indiana. While mommy was reliving her college glory days (celebrating with Aunt Bessie's last few days as a single lady), Joshy was visiting grandma and grandpa. We walked around the beautiful pond, visited the school playground, and did lots of practice walking.







Arghhg!!!! Josh is the wrestling champion of the Bowers household as he goes for the belly crusher on grandpa.

We finally gave in and Joshy got his first haircut courtesy of MomMom.

HAPPY first BIRTHDAY Joshua

Joshua turned One this weekend. He's been the best baby and it is hard to believe how much he's changed. A year ago he was a 7lbs little baby and now he's a little man. He's walking, babbling, and giggling all the time.

Joshy had a wonderful party. The whole family was there. Joshua is going to be the best dressed kid in school this summer. He received some really cute outfits and few toys. His favorite is the tricycle that's helping him learn to walk.
