Memorial Day weekend

Joshua had a wonderful first visit to Indiana. While mommy was reliving her college glory days (celebrating with Aunt Bessie's last few days as a single lady), Joshy was visiting grandma and grandpa. We walked around the beautiful pond, visited the school playground, and did lots of practice walking.







Arghhg!!!! Josh is the wrestling champion of the Bowers household as he goes for the belly crusher on grandpa.

We finally gave in and Joshy got his first haircut courtesy of MomMom.

HAPPY first BIRTHDAY Joshua

Joshua turned One this weekend. He's been the best baby and it is hard to believe how much he's changed. A year ago he was a 7lbs little baby and now he's a little man. He's walking, babbling, and giggling all the time.

Joshy had a wonderful party. The whole family was there. Joshua is going to be the best dressed kid in school this summer. He received some really cute outfits and few toys. His favorite is the tricycle that's helping him learn to walk.

Late April Update

Josh continues to grow like a weed. He now has 6 teeth (which means he can BITE now) and can stand on his own. He can walk holding onto something, and has shown an unfortunate interest in climbing the staircase. Here are some recent pics:

Happy Holidays

Joshua got to celebrate two new holidays this weekend.


First he spent Passover with G-Grandma and G-Grandpa in NYC. I guess his babling is a little closer to Hebrew than English, but he was still exempt from reading any of the passages. We even figured out that Grandma Caryl's Cousin Barry is Joshy's second cousin.

Then Joshy got to celebrate his first Easter with Andrea's family. He really enjoyed dinner with the family and loved meeting Mr. E-Bunny. No candy yet (so more for cousin Jack and mommy and daddy)

But most importantly (I guess this gives away who's writing this post!) Joshy got to watch his first Masters with daddy. We cheered on Tiger and Lefty as they made their Sunday charge and got to watch an exciting finish.

In other exciting news, cousins Jack and Will got a new puppy dog. Lilly, a yellow lab, is so cute and plays very well with Joshua.

Joshy Solves Economic Crisis!!!

It's truly amazing; Joshy has solved our economy's problems.

Ok, so that's an April Fools joke, but at least he's a happy boy.

This week Josh moved up to a new classroom. He is now with the "older" kids who can walk. He's almost able to keep up with them as a fast crawler, but we're thinking (see if you agree after watching this video) that he'll be walking soon.

Josh is looking forward to a fun night over with Mommom and Poppop this weekend. It will be a good test for May when they get him for two whole days!!!
