Playtime with Grandma

"This is the last time I try to feed myself!"

"Dad, can't we go back to Florida where its warm!!" This hat from G-Grandma is keeps Josh warm on the cold mornings on the way to daycare.

Andy would like to thank Bess for teaching Josh a new trick. He does it all the time when eating now. (I can't wait to teach Bess' kids the same thing!!, so she can clean up the mess--j/k)

Tropical Turkey Day!!!

Josh spent his first Thanksgiving in the Florida Keys helping to celebrate Great-Grandpa's 80th birthday. We may have given him the wrong impression -- how often is it 80 degrees and sunny for Thanksgiving?!! But he still had his sweet potatoes. In fact, he's the only one who's happy he gained weight over the holidays...

Josh sports his family vaca t-shirt as grandpa helps him "walk".

Josh and all his "ladies".

Visit from Sarah

What a wonderful weekend with Sarah. She took to Joshua right away--and he took to her immediately. We had a very relaxing weekend and had lots of Joshua time.

Sarah brought Josh an adorable Paddington Bear. Here Josh is trying to figure out how he can fit it into his mouth...

Josh is lookin' so good in his Puma suit.

Yikes, wild hair, wild hair.

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Joshua!

Today is Josh's "half birthday"! We can't believe how quickly time is flying. Six months ago we met our little guy for the first time, a tiny, wrinkly, little thing; now he is an active, wriggly, boisterous little man! He has developed very specific tastes.

He likes sweet potatoes, bath time (or any opportunity to be "NakedBoy", Pink Hippo, Hootie (his Owl), mommy, daddy, walks in the stroller, and singing "Old MacDonald". He enjoys putting his foot in his mouth (literally).

He dislikes peaches and bananas, vitamins, changing clothes, and getting strapped into his carseat.

He has learned how to sit on his own, roll over, hold his bottle (almost), and squalk for attention.

Josh Day 1

Josh Day 180

Josh is going to try out for the remake of a Christmas Story: "I can't move my arms!!"

Mommy and me

Mommy was on-call last night (and Monday night--BOOO). It's so great to see her. Even if mommy is tired. Yippee.

I'm practicing my sitting up and playing.

"Mommy, you are so pretty"

Joshy is going to love riding his horsey. He's mostly strong enough now, but daddy has to make sure that we don't fall off.

Here's another picture of Joshua from school. I can't even imagine how many picture they had to take to get this good one.

"See, I can feed myself . . .almost." We've now expanded our food repertoire to include peas, carrots, sweet potatoes and bananas. There's nothing quite like smashed peas for breakfast.

Pictures of Joshua

Yeah, it's time for some peaches and bananas!!

Josh loves the blanket that Grandma Caryl made for him.
