Big Top Joshua

Joshua loves the circus!! Mommy and Daddy are now afraid that someday he'll run away to join. He sat through the entire performance on the edge of his seat and his favorite act was with one with the clowns using the balloons. He also liked

jumping dogs.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! Our first holiday in New York. Grandma and Grandpa flew in and we all had dinner at Great-Grandma and Grandpa's along with Aunt Bess and Uncle John. Friday the crew went to South Norwalk, CT and revisited Josh's favorite aquarium. Saturday was spent in Manhattan; Josh loved exploring the Museum of Natural History (celebrity sighting: Michael Douglas with his 2 children). Finally, on Sunday we braved the crazy shoppers along Madison and 5th Avenues to get to Rockefeller Center... but the tree hasn't been lit yet. Gives us an excuse to go back again sometime in December!! And all this while Mommy was on "home call" the whole time. Now it's time to start gearing up for the holiday season and Christmas with the Legaths in Moorestown!

Today Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jenny surprised us by stopping in! Josh got lots of good snuggle time with his aunt without having to fend off his 2 cousins for face time. Lucky boy!

Josh, Leone, and Malou

Before we moved to New York, Josh was doing really well in "school" (daycare) so we were a little nervous about having to use a nanny instead here in the city. But.. turns out it's working just fine! Josh shares his wonderful nanny, Malou, with his great buddy, Leone. Malou manages to keep these two very active boys busy and happy!

Sometimes Josh and Leone are a little more like "frenemies" -- stealing each other's toys, whacking each other in the head, swiping bottles. Fortunately most of the time they are just partners in crime, almost like brothers.

Halloween 2009

For Halloween this year Josh dressed as his most beloved "lovey", Funshine the yellow Care Bear. Which is a major feat considering the kid HATES having things on his head!

We had a nice weekend back in NJ with Mom Mom and Pop Pop. Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jeff had everyone over for dinner and a belated birthday celebration for Mom Mom. Josh had fun taking apart cousin Will's train tracks, and cousin Jack was, as always, very sweet and accommodating of his "baby cousin".

We also checked out Zelley Park in Moorestown where Andrea used to play in the summertime growing up. The playground has been redone but Josh seemed to like it as much as his mom used to! Here he is pretending to be a NYC taxi driver, making sure daddy gets to his destination.

Visit from Bess and John

Josh had a great visit from his aunt and uncle this weekend. He helped to celebrate John's birthday by going to the park and showing off all his cool trains.

Indiana Visit

Last weekend Josh got to visit grandma and grandpa in Bloomington. He spent all day Friday and most of Saturday with grandma. Despite the premature cold weather, he enjoyed playing in the leaves, going to the playground and checking out the pond.

He was a great traveler for daddy and he even gobbled up some Shapiro's sandwich at the airport.

Josh is excited to see Aunt Bess and Uncle John this weekend and then all of mommy's family for Halloween.

What will his costume be????? Daddy may have him be a Phillies player so they can beat those D$*@ Yankees!!
