Mommy's Home!

So the boys survived five nights last week while Andrea was in Las Vegas. Andy had a lot of help from G-grandma who came down from NYC for two nights.
Josh has picked up some new tricks. He loves to clap his hands and he has learned to pinch. So everyone better watch out!!!!
He's now an expert crawler and loves to explore all the corners of the house. He'll pull himself up to standing on anything he can find and he's learning to play ball with daddy. Mommy and Daddy are going to have to bubble-wrap the house so its Joshy-proof.

He's now 20# 3oz and 28" tall, 50%ile for both.

We're so lucky that he's a good little kid and to have so many people close to us.

He loves playing with bubbles.

Josh Age 9 Months

Josh has changed so much recently!! He is crawling all over the place and super curious about his surroundings. He doesn't want to be held much because there is too much out there to explore! He is also trying all kinds of different table foods; he loves bananas, chicken, Goldfish, and peas (!). Still not a fan of carrots or peaches, but we will keep trying! He is also FINALLY sleeping through the night (mostly) but still very stingy on the naps.

Josh and PopPop hang out.

His favorite position -- cruising around the coffee table.

"Yummy table."

Now I can pull up and wait for Mommy to come get me out of bed.

Who's Lance Armstrong? A cycling champion in waiting.

"Come on mom, take the picture so I can get out of this silly outfit!"

Josh loves bathtime. Big splashing and special toys. Almost too big for bathing in the sink.

Joshy loves the horsey from Great-Aunt Debbie.
More to come!

Another Great Weekend...

Another fabulous family visit this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa came out for the weekend. Josh enjoyed a walk to the candy store and lots of attention.

Josh gets to play with another of his stuff animals. This time he hugs "Kirby" the Cricket.

All bundled up for our walk! (To celebrate the first day above freezing in forever!)

Jumping Man

This is a great way to get a little one tired out for a nap.

"Oh., I love Rocco my new stuffed doggy" He's very soft and huggable.

Josh and Bree celebrate the Big Game by having some chicken wings. PopPop and Uncle Jeff were very happy that the 'Burgh came out victorious. Mommy cleaned house on the betting game (she even picked the halftime playlist correctly!)

Bess and John Weekend

Josh had wonderful visit from his Aunt Bess and Uncle John this weekend. Joshua loved playing with his stacking cups and blocks with Uncle John. Bess sang a nice version of Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Joshua, thanks to the ESPN connection, got to attend his first "boombacca" (basketball) game on Sat night--and what a way to start!! A classic Philadelphia Big 5 rivalry game of UPENN vs St. Joe's at the Palestra. Josh loved listening to the sounds of the game and watching the crowd.

Joshua gets to meet the cat. They played very nice.

On Sunday, Joshua got to meet his first doggy--Rocco--at the DiSpirito's. He tried so hard to chase after Rocco, but Josh has yet to master the forward crawling motion. Even so, the two boys has a great time playing.

Little Crawler

Joshua is starting to crawl, kinda. He can army crawl backward. This makes seeing where he's going a little problematic. He managed to get himself stuck under the couch and under the chair. But he loves to travel around and see new things.

Joshua learns a new vowel with his "o-face." Ralph Furley would be proud.

Joshua supports the Eagles in the playoff run. E-A-G-L-E-S.

Happy New Year!

Lots of family came to visit for the New Year!

Josh was in Heaven with all the attention, hugs, and kisses.

Time with Aunt Bess was super fun!

"Vandy, Vandy, Oh hell yes!" -- Josh cheered on Vandy for their 1st Bowl win in... well, almost forever!

(our condolences to Aunt Courtney and her BC Eagles).

Mommy loves her SuperBaby.
